Slime Help

Sticky Slime

To make slime less sticky, add a bit of borax solution and knead. Repeat until it feels just right. Don't dump in too much solution all at once or your slime will become super stiff!

Check out Borax Guide for more information.

Stiff Slime

Slimes may become stiff in cold weather. To help them thaw, place them in a warm location or warm them up with your hands. If your slime is extremely stiff from overactivation try the following solutions:

White Base: Mix small amounts of unscented lotion in slime and knead until your slime has reached your desired consistency.

Clear Base: Keep slime in an airtight container in a warm location for a few days to allow the slime to soften up. You can also try adding small amounts of glycerin which will also soften the slime.

Slime in Carpet/Clothes/Hair

No need to worry! You can easily remove slime from fabric surfaces and hair by using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and warm water. It's a quick and effective method.

SLIME CARE

Wash your hands before playing with slime

Prevent dirt, oils, and bacteria from getting onto slime by ensuring your hands are clean and dry before playing.

Keep slime away from pets and small children!

To ensure safety, store slime in a place inaccessible to pets and small kids.

Avoid playing with slime on porous surfaces

When playing with slime, it is important to note that it can easily stick to porous surfaces such as carpets, clothing, and furniture. To avoid any potential mess, it's recommended to use a smooth and easy-to-clean surface.

Avoid direct sunlight

When slime is exposed to direct sunlight, it has the potential to melt and fade. It is recommended to store your slime in a cool and dry location, away from any direct sunlight.

Keep slime in an airtight container

Prevent your slime from drying out by storing it in an airtight container when you're not using it.
